Beaumaris Balony

Existing balcony tiling and flooring was removed to sub structure, subfloor structure repairs done, new scyon sheeting installed allowing A-STD drainage, step between the main balcony area to walk removed, one coat of Primmix Bond Primer, corners and joins were sealed with sika polyurethane and bandaged with Butyl Fleece tape, two coats Acyroof Plus (UV stable, one part acrylic able to handle ponding water) waterproofing membrane applied to tiled area, Versipave Paver support system installed with new tiles, new matching 10mm skirting tile installed with a bevelled edge, all area caulked, site left clean and tidy.

Hampton Balony

Existing balcony tiling and flooring removed to sub structure, subfloor structure cleaned and repairs made, two new spoon drains installed, new rainhead was installed to the existing downpipe, new screening level created to A-STD, one coat of Primmix Bond Primer. corners and joins sealed with sika polyurethane and bandaged with Butyl Fleece tape, area had two coats Acyroof Plus (UV stable, one part acrylic able to handle ponding water) waterproofing membrane, balcony retiled including 100mm bevelled edge border tile, tiles grouted and caulked, site cleaned and rubbish removed.

Point Leo

Point Leo holiday house project, this house is 13 years old and clients required an update of kitchen with new butler pantry construction, main bathroom and converting the existing study/storage room into another bedroom. Once this works was carried out it was found the entry wall had water damage rot along with the upstairs window.

Kitchen: Existing kitchen removed, kitchen wall to be made good and roughing in of all plumbing and electrical, construction of new butler pantry and construction of new wall from new pantry to existing wall. Safety upgrades on all circuits and test, supply install terminate circuit and commission for coffee machine, alterations to existing lighting in kitchen. All cracks in plaster walls in both kitchen and living room will be repaired.

Bathroom: Existing cabinetry to be removed and wall to be made good, existing vanity bowl and toilet removed and made ready for new vanity cabinet, wall and floor of old vanity waterproofed, wall retiled with mosaic tiles, exposed floor area tiled with matching floor tiles, new tapeware to be installed, existing nib to be reduced allowing for new vanity unit.

New bedroom: Existing wall between study and store room to be removed, replaster the removed section of wall, existing store room door space and cavity door, new architrave and skirting, existing store room door rehung for access to new bedroom and two AC high wall splits.

Hallway: Manufacture and installation of 38mm by 38mm square balustrade one at 1040mm long and shorten existing balustrade. construction of new butler pantry and construction of new wall from new pantry to existing wall.

Painting: All timber will have one coat of gloss under coat oil enamel and two gloss finish coats oil enamel, walls will have one of under coat and two low sheen finish coats, ceilings will have one under coat and two coats of flat finish.

Timber floor: Sand, stain (colour TBC) with three coats of clear finish to Victorian Ash flooring.

Front door floor/wall and window water damn and rot: Insulation of three aqua props to support walls during works, removal of two sheets of existing wall plaster boards, rotten timber including bottom plate removed and replaced with new timber, rotten timber flooring removed and replace with new timber flooring, rotten timber sheet flooring removed and replace with new timber sheet flooring, rotten subfloor timber removed and replaced with new subfloor timber, replaster boards, new architrave and skits boards, all rotten timber removed from window and replaced with new timber and filled.

Cherry Building and Construction Services completed these extra works along with the contracted works on time and on budget.

Burnett St St Kilda

St Kilda – Full renovation of a two bedroom solid brick apartment ready for sale. This property was in very bad condition and the owner engaged Cherry Building and Construction Services to the following works:

Property totally rewired and re-plumbed.

Repaired all timber windows and doors to working condition.

Repaired all solid plaster damage throughout property.

Kitchen: completely gutted, removed wall between kitchen and lounge, walls replastered, install new kitchen cabinets with all new applicants, lighting and subway tiled splash back.

Bathroom: completed gutted for new design, walls replaster, new bathtub installed, floor screened, water proofed, new tiles laid, installed new vanity, shower screen, mirror, laundry with new washing machine, new toilet and new lighting

Cherry Building and Construction Services completed works on time and on budget.

This 9^th floor 1950’s solid 2 bedroom with study apartment required updating in readiness for rental. All timber windows restored, all plaster damage repaired, fully painted, new light fittings installed, new floating floor installed, leaking shower base removed and replaced with new cement base, water proofed and retiled, new shower screen installed, new blinds installed. This property was handed over to real estate on time and on budget.
